By Definition:

(Ref: The Oxford Dictionary of Current English)

Comparative Strategic Culture Analysis, on the basis of the definitions below, can be seen as a detailed examination of the elements and structure of the customs and achievements of a particular civilization or group, relative to those of another, for purposes of long term (military) planning.

Comparative - adj. 1  perceptible or estimated by comparison; relative (in comparative comfort).  2  of or involving comparison (a comparative study).

Strategic - adj.  1  of or promoting strategy.  2  (of materials) essential in war.  (of bombing or weapons) done or for use as a longer term military objective.

Strategy - n.  1  long term plan or policy (economic strategy).  2 art of war.  3  art of moving troops, ships, aircraft, etc. into favourable positions.

Culture - n.  2  customs, achievements, etc. of a particular civilization or group (Chinese culture).

Analysis - n  1  a  detailed examination of elements or structure.  b statement of the result of this.  2  Chem.  determination of the constituent parts of a mixture or compound.  3  psychoanalysis.

(It is tempting to oversimplify and jump on the last word above and summarize Comparative Strategic Culture Analysis as a kind of Cognitive Psychoanalysis of a Nation for Strategic Purposes.  There might be some validity in such a summarization, certainly useful in anecdotal conversation, but for the purpose of this undertaking I suspect that far more is required.
